Question about 1998 Ford Explorer
This code represents an oxygen sensor indicating not enough fuel in the exhaust gases for bank 1(if this has more than one sensor) .bank 1is the same side as #1 cylinder is on which is on the passenger side,if it only has one then its the only sensor that monitors exhaust gases.this could be a bad 02(oxygen) sensor or voltage reading at the sensor or bad wires, connection.it could also be an injector not suppling enough fuel for a cylinder or more than one,it is located in the exhaust pipe.
