Not getting fire to distributer,have changed the coil, any ideas??

sounds like you're wasting lots of cash. Check engine codes? take it to a shop and pay by returning all the unneeded parts? call a cab?
Please tell me you can use a multimeter and read a manual.

I have a 97 suburban i changed timing chain and the truck is not getting any fire to the coil i put a distributer a n pickup coil a new coi and new crankshaft senser and the truck still has no fire at

Do you have battery power at the coil when the key switch is on and when the engine is cranking ?
The rotor on the distributor is turning, right ?

Sound like a cracked distributor cap. Happened to me a couple years ago in my 4.3L Jimmy. Replace the cap and button.

Did you replace the igniter (inside the distributer) and the ignition control module (on top of the distributer. Sometimes the control module gets overlooked...

The firing system is not working and we changed the coil packs and it is still not firing. My car is a 1995 Chevy Chevlier, 2.2.

the coil packs recieve a signal telling them when to fire from ur distribution center may want to check that
