My 1996 jeep grand cherokee is maKing a buzzing noise by the fuse box and only goes away when I turn my hazards or turning signal on

There's a relay/flasher that sounds like it may be dying. There are actually two of these in your Cherokee - round plug piece about an inch tall that plugs into your fuse block.

The good news these are cheap (less than $10 online). I'd try replacing the turn signal flasher with a new one and see if the noise goes away.

Trun signals intermitently work, checked bulbs wires, fuses, i believe this problem is linked to the hazard lights. Is this posible? where is the hazard relay located?

yes it is linked with the hazard light in a way. when you turn the hazard light on do they seem like they work fine?? if they work good, i would say your need a turn signal flasher, of course the hazards run off of a flasher unit too.. they very from vehicle to vehicle, but most of the time they are under the dash on drivers side... turn your signal on and listen for the clicking, you should find it fairly quickly and easily, that is where your problem most likely is. hope this helps

Turn signals will not work

Check,

1.Fuse
If you know where the fuse panel/s are located, the fuse placement is on the back of the fuse panel cover.

2.Turn Signal Flasher Unit. The round aluminum 'can', usually under the dash on the drivers side.
There may be just one, and it is used both for turn signals, and hazard flashers.
Or, there may be two of them. One for turn signals, one for hazard flashers.

3.One turn signal bulb is out, and this vehicle may not let the turn signals work, with one bulb burned out.

4.There is a bad ground contact point, (Rusty), for the ground wire coming out of the lighting wire harness.
There will be a ground wire, or wires coming out of the front, and also the rear of the vehicle. These have Black insulation on them, and attach via a machine screw to metal. Usually some sort of sheet metal, of the body of the vehicle.

5.The contact points in the turn signal housing, for the turn signal bulb, are corroded.

I need a fuse panel diagram to replace the turn signal flasher. Thanks

Before replacing the flasher does the hazards work, Try wiggling the turn signal lever up and down and back and forth with the key on and the lever in each position. If the blinkers or hazards start flashing you'l need a multifuntion switch. This isnt a definative test if you get nothing you may have a blown fuse. As fas as the flasher goes, go buy one and then you will know what it looks like.
