Most likely you need to replace the ignition module, it is located on the side of the distributor, if when you remove the module and the plug in inside the distributor pules apart you will need to replace the pick up coil as well, also if you remove the cap look to see what color the pick up coil is if its black replace it all the black ones were recalled years ago, but evey now and then we still see them come into the shop.

let me know if there is any thing else i can do for you.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. You may want to try looking into the cam sensor and crank sensor. You could have an issue with your computer. The computer controls all the ignition functions. Check your wires and make sure none is damaged. You could test everything with a voltage meter and see if you can find anything not producing current. If you have any other questions, please let me know. Thanks for using FixYa.

I have seen the coil on that motor get damaged from the rotor. Also you need to check for runout in the rotor shaft. I have also see the ground fail on the ECM and cause this.

You need a new distributor. You've replaced everything else. A distributor will get up and running again.

No fire

first thing i would check would be your spark control module.Located in the distributer under the rotor.take it down to your local autoparts store for testing.have them test it three times in a row to get it to operating temp.if it passes then check your coil with a multimeter.
