Electrical - Clock/Radio, Signal lights, power seats interior lights

When I turn on my jeep, the radio/clock, interior dome lights power seats computer screen, and a/c /ventilation and signal lights electronics dont work at all. but when i turn the headlights on and hold my high beams on everything works!!! i have tried replacing the signal junction and the micro junction as well as replacing the wiper signal switch, but even with the new parts it still gives me the same problem, has anyone ever had this problem before? if so how do i solve it??? where on the jeep are there ground connections in case that is the problem, aside from on the inside hub beside the battery, need my signals to safety the thing otherwise i could live with it!

someone tested a wire connecting the 2 fuse boxes and left the hole, it corroded, everything worked when my high beams were on because more power was going through the wire.

The Vehicle information center has two fused inputs. Fuses are #20 and #6, located on the kick area for the accompanying occupant.

How do I brighten clock light it's very dim?

Is your clock part of radio assembly? There is usually a dimmer control for interior lamps, you rotate it to brighten or dim interior lamps--dome--instrument cluster--radio illumination. The same thing should work for the clock. If clock is part of radio assembly, I guess you can remove radio and dig into it, see if you find the wiring for clock illumination.

2001 gmc jimmy clock stays on after door is opened and dies out battery, what could be wrong?

No other lights on ,dome, courtesy etc...
Battery Rundown Protection/Inadvertent Power
In the event that any of the interior lamps supplied voltage by the inadvertent power relay and ground from the courtesy lamp relay were to remain on when the ignition is OFF after a period of 20 minutes, the BCM will deactivate the inadvertent power relay turning OFF all of the lamps on that circuit to prevent total battery discharge. Only when the ignition switch is cycled back to the RUN position will the BCM reset the internal timer and reactivate the inadvertent power relay. When the inadvertent power relay is not energized, the BCM utilizes the inadvertent power courtesy lamp supply voltage circuit to monitor for a courtesy lamp switch request signal. If a courtesy lamp switch is activated, the BCM will receive the signal to energize the inadvertent power relay by grounding the control circuit.

Ingterior lights, clock and radio memory won't work on 1998 isuzu rodeo when key is not on

The radio receives power from the 15A AUDIO FUSE in the dash fuse box. The radio memory receives power from the 10A DOME LIGHT FUSE in the same box. The problems you note suggest the radio may have been misconnected at some point or there has been a fuse failure or there is a broken connection.

Radio, clock and dome light not working

Had this before and i found a fault on the fuse board ,no supply the printed circuit maybe as i didnt go any further i just looped it from another fuse that had power via ignition switch through the radio fuse and it all worked but the fuse for the radio wasnt the one i looped as that had power for the memory it was another one that done the interior light and a thin bit of telephone wire done the trick so check all the fuses for power ,pull them out and check with a little 12v screwdriver light thing from the chinese shop ,right star trek is about to start goodnight

The radio and the clock from tacoma 2002 did not

On most vehicle the fuse for the clock will be the same as the interior dome light. As for the radio should be a 10 amp fuse (red). Usually found on the interior fuse panel for both.

Dash and shifter lights in 1996 jeep cherokee wont light

Hello and welcome to FixYa . Locate the dial that controls the brightness of the dashboardlights. If the control is not immediately evident. Make sure the brightness control is turned on. If it is and the lights aren't working, the problem may be a bad fuse. Check the fuse that controls the dashboard lights Replace the fuse if necessary. If just one part of the instrument panel is not lighting up, then you have either a burned-out bulb or a wiring problem.
