Got power on all my lights except the brake light in the back on the passenger side in my 1993 dodge shadow 2.2 engine

I doubt there are two separate switches. I also doubt that there are two wires running from up front to the back. There is most likely a single wire going to the brake light on the driver side and one going from there to the passenger side. It either this wire or a connector that you should be looking at, assuming that you have replaced the globe!

I replaced every tail light there is and still the lift brake light is out driver side. also more than 5 jeeps ive seen has the same problem 2004 jeep cher limited edition

Check the voltage on socket pins and for proper ground using a schematic. Socket is probably bad and not making good contact with bulb.

If i turn on my lights the dashboard light goes out and my inside lights come on. however when i hit the brake the inside lights goes out and the dashboard light comes on

Changed any bulbs in the back latley? if so I surspect so see that they are the correct type in the correct holder if you put a single base bulb in a double base holder.. Double base in holder one side is brake light the outher is the side lights, the single base shorts them together...so when you brake, the brake lights start supplying the side lights... So it lights your dash lights as well look in frount of the car while some one breakes for you and I bet the front side lights com on on their own!
and thats why!! VERY COMMERN MESTAKE!
O.K.?

In my 89 cevy silverado my lights all worked until i hit the brakes and the tail light and the break light would go out, but my tail light works just fune until i hit the brakes

Check the rear bulbs, and see if they are burned out, check to see if a double element bulb is in the socket, not a single element bulb.

My brake lights don't work

there's a box on the drivers side at the back in the luggage area that is accesed by removing the plastic side panel that will do what you are saying. it is caused many times by a mis-wired trailor.

Brake and turn single drivers side don't work

Those trucks have a problem with the circuit board that the bulbs plug into. Unplug all the bulbs and see if one is burnt or melted. The fix is usually replacing the board.

Anti lock brakes

you need to have your brakes checked on the front and also have them check wheel bearing on that side. when a car sits overnight in humid conditions the brake rotors will rust over lightly, that normally is removed off of rotor after first brake application. it shouldnt do it after you keep driving. abs does make noises though when it is working, sliding, so I would pop my hood and check for abs computer. It has brake lines and electrical connection going to it. Im not saying its bad but just look at its location and see if the sound of it functioning/location seems to make it sound like it is left wheel

did you change the brake pad wear sensors in the front and rear pads as well? you may have a bad connection or broken wire to the wear sensors on one of the wheels. sometimes there is a sensor on each wheel and sometimes just 1 front side and 1 rear side, the sensor has a single wire and they slide into the inside brake pads, if your brakes wear down to the point of hitting this sensor you need to replace it and they are pretty cheap about $25 for all four you may just try changing them first before spending $80 at the dealer for an hour diagnosis, if you figure anything out let me know so i can help, good luck and please rate this -Jeff
