When it's hot outside, the car slows down and I lose electrical power.

My probs are quite similar, when hot outside Id lose all my instrament panel controls. Also all loss of Blinkers inside and out of the car, unless I sleightly push in the Hazard light button to get the blinkers to work.

Id taken it in and charged me 650.00 to replace the instrament cluster, it was a great fix for about 2hrs. It was also brought to a dealer to be recalibrated several times.

Now unless I unplug the battery before driveing it boots up in kilograms for the milage and still the instrament panel is dead.

I have 1500 left to pay on the car & honeslty cant wait to be rid of this headache.

2002 Jeep liberty headlights cut off and then back on at random times. weather makes no difference nor hot or cold. went a way for a few months and now it has started all over again. hear clicking sound...

the clicking your hearing is the relay trying to stay engaged, its heating up causing the relay to power down, which in turn you lose the lights, the heat is caused by the electrical current supplied to the replay, Not the outside temp , locate that relay and replace it, and your problem should be gone

95 ford mustang hot outstide quits running

For starters have the radiator and coolant system flushed which may help cool the engine better. But when it gets too hot, motor oil loses it's viscosity ( thickness and lubrication properties ) and gets thinner. Especially in hot weather you should make sure you have good oil and make sure you dont run it low on oil. On the flip side make sure that it's not overfilled because this will blow out the seals and you'll have much bigger problems than no power. Hope it helps!

Intermitent electrical shut off

Asked a local independent Toyota/Lexus repair shop.

He suggested checking battery cables at both ends to assure tight fit.

Positive cable was ever so slightly loose.

Tightened all cables. Will see if that solves problem.

My car when the sun hit, dont start

Do you mean you have trouble starting it when it is hot outside? If so get the battery checked first, heat and cold stress the battery.

If you mean you lose power as you drive when its hot out, that is a whole other problem.
Good Luck

Loss of Power

Does temp gauge go up when this happens ? When was fuel filter changed last? If not recently, I'd start there.
