Check that the spark plugs are ok, check air filter is clean, check fuel filter. If you go to a mechanic ask the computer to be checked with a code reader and compression to be tested.

I mean check the simple things at home, a dirty fuel filter can give same trouble as well as a car computer. If this things are ok, check electronic injection ECM unit and have a setup done by a qualified mechanic.

How often should i change my oil in my 2008 Lincoln Navigator?

The people that make replacement engines say 6000 to 7500 miles. I never let any vehicle go over 4500 and usually 4000. There is a time thing too, 4 months to 6 months.

If you drive 3000 miles in a 2 week vacation its different than 3000 in 4 months of stop and go driving. I have owned over 55 vehicles, mostly used and have never had any engine failure and regularly put 100,000 miles of my own miles on used vehicles.
I use Valvoline, GTW, and sometimes Havoline.

Chirping when @3500 to 4000 rpms, 2000 taurus

3500 rpms is about 80 mph. Is this noise in 1st, 2nd & 3rd gear? Is check engine light on?
Chirping could be accessory belt noise. Spray them one at a time with belt dresing to see if it goes away and which belt is doing it.

Oil change

Conventional oil 3000-3500 miles
Synthetic oil as printed on the oil bottles.
It does have some bonus properties, reduced wear, longer life. and as long as it meets minimum standards is more than acceptable for warranty.

Fuel pump problem

Check the ground. Sometimes it will work its way loose, not allowing it to start. If ok, check your fuel pump relay in the fuse panel under the hood on drivers side fender well.
