The fuel filter is part of the fuel pump, so if you are wanting to change the fuel filter, the fuel pump must be changed as well. The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank and the fuel tank would need to be dropped to remove the fuel pump.
It is located under driver rail around front door u will need filter wrench or crecent to remove cover and replace will have some fuel spillage and make sure to replace o ring provided wth filter. there is also filter under hood by oil filter both filters come with kit around 50 for kit
there is no fuel filter per say, it is now part of the fuel pump,its not servicable, unless the pump is replaced, i know that sounds crazy, but the hyundai tucson is the same way,its there the same vehicle, hyundai owns kia.
fuel filter is under bonnet.under engine cover if fitted.filter is located in a plastic housing.the top of this housing can be removed to expose the filter.job will take apprx 1/2 hour.
