Cannot get trani pan off 1994 dodge dakota - 1994 Dodge Dakota Club Cab

What you do, is cut about a 3/8" wide strip,about 12 to 14"
long ,out of the frame crossmember,so the trans pan
will drop down

I used an air driven cut off tool

Also remove the dip stick

Your going to need a torx driver about T25 approx,
to remove the filter

there is no transmission drain plug, u remove the pan to drain fluid or pump it out using the fluid cooler pressure line at the radiator.

there is no drain plug, you need to change the fliter with the fluid, in order to get u to do this the factory eleminated drain plugs decades ago.
