Hi,

Your post, "fractured or broken fuel line" often is indicative of physical failure rather than rapture due to over pressure or normal wear and tear. This is normal if the span between supports of the fuel line is rather wide and they are subjected to up and down movements as in when the vehicle is driven over bumps or uneven pavement. Corrective measures would call for addition of supporting straps bolted to the chassis or flooring or any convenient bolt that may be used. The flexing and bending which leads to "fractured or broken fuel line" wold then be prevented. This is not a factory nor a dealer installable item since as best describe, it is a modification. Simply purchase support/straps similar to what are already installed and add them where applicable.

Additionally, close inspection of the immediate area of the "fractured or broken fuel line" would show you if it is exposed or is much lower than the rest of the bottom of the vehicle. In some instances, a skid plate type of cover could also help or prevent the said fuel line from any possible snagging.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

Probably the pipes are rottening all at the same time, have a complete replacement of all bad ones, also check the fuel pump.

I mean, do not wait for another fault, ask the mechanic to test the whole engine, pipelines and pump. Also test pressure out of fuel pump. If the car has nothing wrong with engine it will be worth.

2013 CRV intermittent groaning/ moaning sound from rear near side corner when towing caravan. No effect on drive or handling just a moan

take it to a panel repair shop and have the body checked around the tow bar area and rear end suspension points for loose spot welds, cracked body floor panels, loose towbar bolts etc
to get any noise there has to be something moving, stretching or cracking so a very close inspection should be made

You really need to have this truck towed to a repair shop. A fuel leak is serious and probably something that a professional should do if you don't have a lot of experience dealing with this kind of repair.

The position of the fuel line makes it prone to vibration and eventual rupture. The dealer did not secure it properly when it was replaced. Since this can be hazard I'd suggest you have the dealer make the proper repair and send an email to the Consumer Product Saftey Commission (WWW.CPSC.gov)

Leaking Gas on left side of gas tank, can't tell if it's the line

More than likely you have a busted fuel line, or one of the connections from the fuel lines to the fuel pump is broken. If you know how to repair cars, drop the tank and find the leak. If you don't know how, have the vehicle towed to a shop. Driving the car would definitely be a fire hazard.

How hard would it be tochange the fuel filters on my 2003 F350 superduty 6.0 liter

I would not advise this job be done at home, there is allot of spilled fuel and if no done right u will end up with a no start (see lots of posts on this problem) from air in the lines, bleeding the system is difficult and not a job for a do it yourself mechanic, you will almost certainly end up having it towed to the dealer for a crank no start. I am a 25 year Ford dealer tech, so very sure on this answer.

Engine won't start

It still should be under the manufacture warranty of 3 year 36,000 miles. Which is bumper to bumper coverage. The engine and drivetrain are covered under 6 year 60,000 miles.

Your best bet is to have it towed to the dealer. Warranty will also pay for your towing fees.
