Check for pressure in the fuel line. if its strong, you know thats not the problem. i think you need a new starter relay. try this, if it still the same way check your spark plugs, sp wires, distributor cap an rotor. my f-250 is the same way, replace the things you need. also check your fuel filter, just take the filter off an blow in the flow tube if no or little air comes ouy replace it. also check for loose terminals and ground wires.

89 ford probe wont start, engine cranks , battery charged, inverta switch seems ok have continuity between switch, check ingnition coil - ok , spark in # 1 spark plug , check all fuses - ok , fuel...

Check for fuel pressure on the fuel rail while turning the key to start,if there is fuel pressure(enough)then the injectors are not pulsing(allowing fuel into the intake). The pick up coil in the distributor, will be the problem, unless it is distribuless ignition, then the cam sensor would be at fault.

Fuel Pump isnt running. will not start. Its not the collision reset. Simply no elec going to the pump at all. Ran fine yesterday.

Fuel Pump Relay can cause this, so can a bad ground or a dead pump. I would also check the fuse for the Fuel Pump.
