Do the signal lights work at the back if so then yes the bulbs work(tailights use different filament).you may have a wiring problem for the brake circuit at the back as the 3rd brake light splits off of the wiring to the brake lights.you will have to check the wiring from the tailight sockets on the brake circuit back until you find the problem.as the 3rd brake light is working the wiring from the brake light switch back to the point the wiring splits off to the 3rd brake light is working.

SOURCE: Right brake light out; tail light works fine

most rear tail lights and turn/stop lights are the same dual filiment bulb. it is possible for your tail light to work and your brake light not to and still have a bad bulb. I would check the bulb first, your brake light works on the left yes? this would mean that the fuse is fine

Turning signals and brake tail lights not work

If the center brake light works but not the others, and the bulbs are good, the problem is usually the turn signal switch.

Check brake light switch, generally a misadjust could cause this; this device is located on top, back side of the brake pedal.

Brake lights will not come on. It is not the bulb. The tail lights work.

The tail lights working would not necessarily mean that the brake light bulbs are good. If they are the type that have a double filament (ie: one filament for the tail light and another filament for the brake light ) the brake light filament could be bad and the tail lights still would work. If they are either single filament type bulbs or double filament type, I would check the bulb, fuses, and contact switch on the brake pedal.

Break light problem

Do you know if the brake light bulbs are working? (are the bulbs good?). (the bulbs have two parts, one for brake lights the other for running lights)
If the third brake light bulb is working the brake lights should be with good light bulbs.
