Get a long piece of pipe like a five foot fence post and use that as a cheater bar...... It will come out or tear off. Alternatively try mixing acetone with automatic transmission fluid in a one to one proportion and applying it to the bolts as a penetrating lubricating oil. This solution works MUCH better for it's purpose that PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench or similar products do......
Worst comes to worst, you'll tear the head off the bolt or round it off and end up drilling it out. Not a big deal.

Head torque for a 2007 Kia Spectra

All Kia Spectras use the 2.0L 4 cylinder engine, and that engine has two different size cylinder head bolts that each require their own torque spec. Use the following torque sequence (see picture) and tighten them down in three steps. You will need a torque angle gauge or some way of knowing how far you've tightened the bolt for steps 2 & 3.

Apply a light coat of engine oil on the threads and under the heads of the bolts before torqueing.

M10 bolts: First step = 16.6*19.5 lb-ft, second step = Turn another 60-65 degrees, 3rd step = Turn another 60-65 degrees

M12 bolts: First step = 20.3-23.1 lb-ft, second step = Turn another 60-65 degrees, 3rd step = Turn another 60-65 degrees

Please let me know if you have any questions, and good luck!

When you replace the head gasket on a kia do you also need to replace the bolts?

Most likely, many others with aluminum? heads have what are called "stretch" bolts, a one time use to maintain the correct tention and the torqe calibration on instalation.

What are the torque specs for the head bolts on a 2002 kia spectra

do not seem to have this model listed in my book ,but a kia shuma 1.6 is showing as 49nm then slacken and turn 360? ,the sportage is showing as 80 to 87 nm ,so if this is a petrol then looking at the book most of the engines are showing the 80/87 nm ,and the head bolts should be renewed ,what i do is to pull down in the order from middle outwards ,firstly with a rachet then the big bar and then check them for a third time to be sure,a 80cm long bar with about a grunt a strain ,diesels two strains and grunt ,yes scientific i know but its the experiance of the feel of the bolt strectching ,but 80 or so nm will do you well but if one starts turning too much back it off and change the bolt before it breaks.

2002 KIA spectra exhaust manifold

The exhaust manifold is right there as soon as you open hood , first disconnect neg batt cab, then jack up car remove bolts that hold pipe to manifold together , unplug any o2 that is in the way and that could get damaged. now from the top take shield off then take manifold bolts out. you might want to spray them with pb blaster and let set a few hours sense exhaust bolts love to break. Remember to use new gaskets installing new one.

2004 kia spectra no a/c

Replacing the alternator belt on 2001 kia spectra

Then you don't take anything off. There will be a spring loaded idler that tensions the serpentine belt. Take a socket or long 12 point wrench and attach to the center bolt of the tensioner, then rotate the idler wheel away from the belt, take the belt off. Slowly release the spring tension of the idler.
The 2nd belt should be set up the same way.
