Usually service repair manuals will have vacuum line diagram. Manufacturers will sometimes put a sticker on the bottom side of the hood with that information, otherwise a service manual will be your most accurate resource.
If you don't have a service manual, some libraries rent them, and places that sell used book sell them at a very low price. Ebay, amazon.com, and some websites will sell used materials very cheaply too.

Please let me know if I can further assist you, good luck.

Most cars have a vacuum hose routing diagram on a sticker located under the hood or on top of the radiator support.

Check for vacuum leaks--pipe to base of carby for distributor---vacuum brake hose. Check float levels check power valve diaphragm is not burnt or has a hole. Check the gasket at the base of the carby Screw both idle mixture right in then back each 2and 1/2 turns . Use the throttle until you can get the engine to run and reduce throttle until it idles on the jets.. Check engine timing and correct firing order.

Plug turned a 1/4 turn and locked down didnt want to force it

no dont force spark plug its trying to cross thread.back spark plug back out.apply thin coat of anti seize compound to spark plug threads.if you have problems getting spark plugs back in a hard to reach place, use a long piece 3/8 vacuum hose about what ever length you need.place vacuum hose over spark plug insulator then install spark plugs to hard reach places to keep from cross threading.if plug tighten 1/4 turn.back out spark plug and try again.dont cross thread or you have to remove cylinder head.if spark plug hole hard to reach to retap or install thread inserts.

I need to pass smog but they say i need to reconnect my hose to my evap canister. i cant seem to find it under the hood

If memory serves me correctly, it's located on the drivers side inner fender, located just behind the radiator cross member.

It'll probably be black in color, plastic in construction and have about a 1/8 inch diameter plastic hookup for a vacuum hose. It may be just under the size of, say, a Folgers coffee can.

Hope this is of some small degree of help!

Backfiring in the motor, 2000 ford mustang 3.8

Without seeing the car it's hard to tell for sure. First check for vacuum leaks look at the intake system lines and hoses to see there are no breaks or hoses missing. Then check ignition system to make sure wires are not crossed. Also scan computer for trouble codes. Possible mass air sensor problem. Backfiring also cause by bad intake valve or valve timing. Also lean condition when the accelerating. Hopes this helps.

Power steering loses fluid, no obvious leak found, a shop replaced the high pressure hose but didnt solve the problem, they said the hose "was leaking". Problem has not changed since they replace the hose-...

If the hose did not solve the problem, take it back. Tell the service manager ou came in to have the disappearing oil problem corrected, you didn't come in to replace a hose on a hit or miss repair. Sweiously, That is alot of money for a hose replace.

I have a 1984 delta 88. It had a blown intake gasket and in removing the intake the vacuum lines were brittle and broken. Back together the lines are crossed and need a diagram to shoe the correct design

Try the autozone.com website and register your car there. It's free and will give you access to an online repair manual for the car. The vacuum diagrams for your car can be found there. ( I checked) Hope this helped and best wishes.

Rough running and knocking

P1167 seems to be a bit of a mystery. My research indicates a vacuum leak, or misdirected vacuum. Either crossed hoses, or perhaps a cracked or malfuncting valve. There should be a vacuum hose routing decal on the underside ofthe hood. This would be a good place to start your troubleshooting. Good luck!
