Try changing the fuse relay. It is the #4 location in the power distribution box under the hood on the drivers side.

Need to know how to fix the windows in the stereo in my 1996 Lincoln Continental.all the fuses are fine, I don't know what to do next

None of the windows work ? You say fuses are good , which fuses ? Did you pull them all out an look at them ? Did you check for power - battery voltage at the window switches ? There is a driver door module involved !
  • Power Windows Completely Inoperative
  • Supply open or shorted.
  • Ground open.
  • Window regulator control switch inoperative.
  • Circuits open or shorted.
  • Window regulator electric drive inoperative.
  • Driver door module.
  • PERFORM driver door module self test. Service DTCs. If no DTCs are retrieved, GO to Pinpoint Test C .
If you don't know electrical circuit testing suggest you take to a AES certified repair shop ! If you plan to do this anyway your going to need a wiring diagram , wiring harness layout , volt ohm meter !

DS window on 2011 Toyota Tacoma pickup is not working. Just replaced the 30a fuse & the window stated going down. Now the other windows work, however the drivers window will not go back up. 30

if there is noise coming from the driver side window is down why you pushing the control button for upwards means the window motor / regulator needs to be replaced. If there is nothing the main control switch for the windows may need to be replaced

My windows stopped working.

All your windows quit working or just one? Check the fuse box, if fuse is good could be your window lift motor or regulator. or it could be the window lift switch.

Rear passanger side window won't go up or down

Window regulator most likely but before changing it out take the door panel off and apply current to the contacts of the actualy regulator. If the window goes up then switch the contacts and now it will go down. If nothing then regulator (window motor) is bad. If it works then your master control switch for all the windows is going bad.

2002 mercury mountaineer on e window not working

All the windows are on the same fuse, if the other windows are working fine, it's not a fuse issue. I susppect the motor or the window regulator.
With your ear close to the door panel, press the window switch up and down, if you hear the motor and grinding noises then the window regulator needs to be replaced, if you don't hear anything then the motor is bad OR no power is getting to the motor. either way you will have to take the door panel off and to fix.

The windows on the back of taurus ford 93 don't work why?

This could be caused by a blown fuse, a faulty window switch, a faulty window motor regulator, or a faulty window motor. Start by checking your fuses inside the cabin of the vehicle for any blown fuses. Next, check the voltage going to the motor when the switch is pushed up or down. If there is no voltage getting to the motor, you have a bad switch or regulator. If voltage is getting to the motor, you have a bad motor.

My 2000 dodge dakota has power windows the up and down button for the passenger side window will not work on the driver side and the up button wont work on the driver side. and my window is stuck down!! i...

1. check fuses
2. if motors are good, more likely it is, it will be the windows regulator or windows switch, both tend to wear out the contacts over times. the windows switch pretty expensive, its run about 123.00 buck each and the regulator run 59.00 each. more likely will be regulator. if it not the windows switch is good. hope that help some, both not hard to replace and not easy.

Windows

all of the fuses for the windows etc can be found in the glove compartment. open the glove box and on the top if the inside of it, you can find 2 white tabs that can be turned 1/4 turn to allow the fuse panel to be accessed. most commonly the windows in these cars will not roll up or down due to faulty window regulators. when you press the button down for the respective window, do you hear a grinding or popping noise from that respective door? If so you will need a new window regulator to repair the problem. If nothing is heard, you will most likely have a faulty switch.
