Question about 1996 Chevrolet C/K 2500
Those electric fuel pumps can sometimes be a pain for us Chevy lovers. The easiest solution I can think of is before attempting to start the engine turn the switch to the auto position and let the fuel pump run for 10-15 seconds before turning the key to start the engine. This can give the fuel pump a bit of a head start, allowing adequate fuel flow to start the engine on the first try. Every vehicle has it's own quirks, you can experiment with the switch on to start method until you find the right touch for yours. I hope this helps :)
