It could be that it needs a tune up. Depending on the mileage, it might even need a new timing belt or chain. If it has been running rich for a long time, which can be checked by looking at the plug; it can damage the catalytic converter which reduces flow and can create a problem in performance which is so often over looked. When tuning a vehicle up the 02 sensor should be replaced if it has over 50k miles.

1989 VW Golf wont's start. Coil loses power, no spark

You are describing a bad ignition switch. These fail in such a way that the voltage to the ignition fails while in the crank position.

Holden Barina Swing 1998 autom. losing power, the inter cooler is changed the problem still the same

try this; there is a crank angle sensor that sit under the car behind the harmonic balancer. It's like a black round plug about 10 cm long. Change that and I'm sure things will run good again. A lot of people don't know about this, and if you are unsure of what it looks like, ask your mechanic or parts supplier to show you one.

How to replace a serptine belt need diagram

Hello country.... the auto-tensioner has a bolt in the center of the pulley. Use either a wrench or (preferably) borrow the proper tool which is just a wrench on a nice leverage bar. When you put pressure the tensioner pulley arm will swing and give you room to remove and replace the belt. Just don't be afraid of loosening the pulley (that was my fear) and don't try a hex wrench on the engine mount side of the tensioner arm.

We removed the transmission on 03 focus se stick and we cannot get the new one back up into the engine cavity. it keps getting stuck on frame, etc

How did it come out?

Usually you loosen & swing the sub frame out of the way,
on one side . Try to loosen the sub frame but leave the
bolts in

Try raising the engine some.
Don't push the oil pan in or damage
some wiring etc doing so.

Worst case you have the front end aligned
when done

Temperature swings. I have a '96 mustang 3.8L V6. When leaving in the morning and the engine is heating up, the temperature guage will swing over almost to the 'H', then swing back almost to the 'C', then...

Make sure all the air is bled out of the cooling system they are bad about air being traped. There should be a bleed around the thermastat housing crack it open let engine run until normal temp and steady flow of coolant then tighten up and top off with coolant.
