SOURCE: Suzuki swift Headlight problem
Have you checked to see if this is a wiring problem or maybe a relay problem?
Recently my lights would work on side lights and not anything else and this was down to dodgy wiring and needed a new relay unit.

From memory you need to turn it counter-clockwise to unclick it and then pull off. You then need to cut off the plastic part left on the stick. Bear in mind that once you have done this you cannot put the stock one back on.
I was going to change mine too, but after driving with the stock one on I realised that it is a nicely weighted and comfortable anyway.

SOURCE: 2007 camry check engine light
For give you one clear answer we need the "fault code", when the check engine light is ON, this mean that you have one fault in the system.
You can disconnect the battery to reset. Leave disconnected for 1/2 hour or so. This method you will lose radio presets. Or if there are no additional errors it should reset itself after 3 trips.
If the check engine come on again, you need visit your dealer or autozone for scanning you ECU and know exactly what codes are there.
Hoe helped with this. Good luck.
