I'm assuming that by oil you mean that your power steering fluid level is at the recommended level. Check the air pressure in all 4 tires, check for uneven wear on the tread, a tire that needs air can sometimes be as bad as losing your power steering or if you have a tire with tread significantly lacking compared to the rest of them this also can have an effect on steering functionality. Is the car making any unusual noises? Be sure that your emergency brake didn't get stuck on as well (rare but indeed does sometimes happen). In some cases you can release the brake lever and assume that the brake has released, but the brake itself can get locked up and you don't know it. These of course are the simple solutions if none of the above solves your problem I'm afraid the problem only gets more complex..... and expensive.

Could be the PS. pump or pressure sensor, in any case this should be covered by your warrenty.

fill it with fluid and look for the leak the system is under the most pressure when the front wheels are all the way to one side or the other..(all the way left or all the way right) if a helper can turn the wheel, you can inspect for the leak to determine where its at..if a hose is craked open, you can cut it and install a ferrule and clamps on it,,if its the pump, it needs replaced..and if the pump growls already due to low fluids it will need replaced very soon anyway..good luck it can be driven carefully but I dont sugest it..

Why would my 1994 jeep wrangler have oil in my air filter and in the air filter box

pcv not working.check see if pcv valve getting vacuum at the intake if not look for broke or disconnected vacuum hose to pcv.if pcv valve working with engine running should feel vacuum suction at pcv if not pcv faulty.if pcv okay other possible causes for oil in the air filter.worn oil rings or too much oil in crankcase.

No power steering

Hi: Check to Make sure your power Steering belt is on still. Also check the Power Steering fluid level is in your power steering canister. If its Low Fill it Up then Start your Jeep moving steering wheel back and Forth,Look to see if you have Power Steering Fluid Leaking Anywhere.Last thing i can think of is your power steering filter is plugged up.Not Very Common. So If All the Above Fails. I'd Say your Power Steering Pump Stopped Working. Hope This Has Helped you. Please let me Know how Much my Solutions Helped.Thank You. From ==d_hubbs

Jeep Wrangler leaking coolant

IT IS THE WATER-PUMP. PLEASE DON'T WAIT FOR IT TO OVER-HEAT BECAUSE THEN IT WILL BE TOO LATE, AND VERY COSTLY. PRICE A HEAD-GASKET JOB AND COMPARE IT TO THE COST OF A WATER PUMP. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE. BEST OF LUCK.
