The fuel level sender in the tank is faulty, it's a common issue. There's a replacement part for this availble from any GM. parts dealer. Unforturnalty the tank has to be dropped and the fuel sender assembly has to be removed to replace this part.

Where is the fuel filter on 2007 gmc 1500 sierra

It does not have a user-serviceable fuel filter. In 2004 when GM went to what is called a "returnless" fuel system, they incorporated the fuel filter into the in-tank fuel pump. That means from 2004 to present, the only way to replace the fuel filter is to replace the entire fuel pump.

2001 GMC truck Sierra (2500 diesal) trouble code showing T0093. He is driving now. He can clear it and the truck is ok for a bit, then it comes back. Is it ok to keep clearing it and driving? Do you know...

The code should be p0093. It is for an injector(s) problem. It usually means that there is a problem with the injectors where the fuel is leaking internally back to the fuel tank or into the oil pan. The injectors had a warranty of 200,000 miles or 7 years for this problem. Unfortunately you are over by years.

I have found that when you are going to engauge 4x4 high, it is best to only be going about 3 miles an hour. Not faster, not stopped. It likes some movement to help it mesh. I've had perfect shifts since I started this. Hope it helps. Wade.

I'm looking for the fuel filter to replace on 2004 GMC Sierra 3/4 ton 2500HD 6 L truck.

If you have one, it's located under the drivers side of the cab on the inner rail part of the frame.<p>
Now some of these do not have one. Call the dealer. He'll need your VIN number. Some came without a fuel filter.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you, doing the holiday thing with the family. From what I read from both Transflow and GMC. When tieing into the purple, both the Trax gage and OEM gage will work. The purple should be the relay wire to the ECD, controlling the low fuel warning lamp. The Trax gage uses this wire to monitor and show the capacity of the stock tank. I'm going to say that you have the wrong wire, however, if you're dead sure you have the right wire, Transflow's web site has a listing for local techs or installers, you may want to give one a call. After all, it is an electrical device and they do fail even when new. Goes back to that whole "lowest" bidder thing.
