Question about Chrysler New Yorker

The blower motor (that is the heater fan motor) is located behind the dash, on the lower right side of the dash panel. The part is accessed disassembling the dash.
The blower motor fails quite rarely. Before going for the blower motor, check the blower motor resistor. The resistor is connected in wiring to the blower motor. When the resistor is bad, its wire will be open. If you touch the resistor poles with an Ohm meter, a good resistor will read low impedance, a broken one will read open.
The resistor is located under the hood, behind the windshield water bottle, and it is easy to access. See below:
Check first the resistor. You may need to remove wiper arm and bottle.
To access the blower motor instead you will need to take apart the dash, and the motor may not be your problem. You access the heater core behind the dash only when there is a stuck blend door. When the motor is not blowing check the resistor.
Test also fuse 10 (30Amps) and fuse F1(25A).
If resistor and fuses are OK, access the blower motor by taking out dash trims. The blower is on the passenger side of dash. In there you will find one green and one black wiring connecting to the motor. Check voltage. If there is 12VDC in the green one, and blower motor does not start, then motor is shot and you will need to replace it. Test the rest first.
