99 gmc Sierra it does not go reverse but it does go forward. I want to know its the transmission or can fix something else.

overhaul the transmission. the shell wasn't hardened correctly in the 98-02 models. will give you a lot of trouble in the future. you would be best off overhauling it for a little cash now rather than fix everything that goes wrong in the future. an overhaul will cost you around $1500. but that's better than the $5000 you'll put into it fixing it piece by piece.

I want a fuse box diagram for a 2004 ford expedition (eddie bauer.)... just want to change my fuses.example:horn fuse, rear wiper fuse and interia light fuse.

  • Here is a copy of the manual http://min.us/l54dFZqUJATph . Download it to have for the future. Pages 249 - 259 deal with the many fuses in your truck. This way you can have a layout to all your fuses for the future.

Transmission slips

If your transmission is slipping the first thing I would do is check the fluid level. If your fluid level is good then you may want to try a transmission additive such as lucas because that is one of the best ones on the market. However, if your fluid level is good chances are you will need repairs sometime in the near future. A slipping transmission is generally a sign of worn bands or clutches so you may be looking at a rather costly repair bill in the near future. The average cost of a transmission overhaul is around 1800 dollars. I hope this helps you out.

Purchasing an 88 dodge csx-t nice car turbo with inter cooler..78000 miles..any issues in future to be concerned about

First off, Congrats! Those beautiful cars are getting harder to find. What number is it?

To answer about future issues; Paint if not already. Be ready to do some through restoration work if you have any rust. Motor mounts can come and go depending on your and the previous owner's driving/shifting habit. Keep an eye on the boost gauge. If it's the original turbo you may have a rebuild in your future if it hasn't been kept up. I'd do a thorough tuneup, lube job and the rest just to get familiar with the car and see anything outstanding.

What are the future problems of the BMW 650i?

The future problems? Now that really narrows down the possibilities. The biggest problem is running out of money once the warranty expires. The second biggest problem would be letting the wife or kids drive it.
Maintenance, maintenance, maintenance. These are very high maint. cars.
Electric seat motor and cables should go kaput. As will the drivers side electric window. The rear tailights will get water in them and quit. The oxygen sensor will quit leaving a check engine light on. The Bosch electric fuel pump IN the tank will quit as well, leaving you stranded. Get it replaced every 40-60 thou miles.

I have a 1999 grand prix gt and the front window goes down ,but now will not go back up, all the other windows are fine,do I need to replace the window motor?

Unfortunately you probably do need to replace the window motor , however as a preventative measure in the future use a special silicon lube you can aquire from Napa to lube up the window runners allowing less resistance for the electic motor to raise the wiindow in the future avoiding this problem.
