Question about 1999 Toyota Camry Solara
I lost my keyless entry/alarm piece 2 years ago and I recently replaced the battery and on reconnection the alarm went off and now goes off every time I open the door, drop the hood, or try to start it and I can't make it stop. A guy from AAA made it stop before by somehow pressing the red button inside the car and putting the key in the ignition doing a combination of moves with the key but I don't remember what it was.
If you have a "factory system", cycling the key in the ignition on-off 5 times will shut off the alarm.
