Question about 2001 Mitsubishi Montero
I had a similar "hesitation" on my 4m40 engine and found it to be resolved when I changed my fuel filter. Gained power and slight economy as well.

It needs a programming check of the accelerator pedal via ecu of the engine. All previous activity of the system is recorded in the ecu which can be corrected in the dealership of mitsubishi.
