Question about 2000 Chevrolet Blazer
Thanks you for using FixYa and welcome to the sight. There are a few things that can cause this. I will tell you what you need to check to fix the issue. Your float is in the gas tank and it reads the level of the tank. You could have a defective dash voltage regulator. You may have lost ground at your sending unit. There may be a break in the wire at the dash. Check the wiring harness behind the cluster. You could have a bad sending unit or your fuel guage may be defective. I would check the sending unit as this is probably the most common to go out. But to be honest, it could be anyone of these. But, it has to be one of the above. Thanks for choosing FixYa.
