I have the smell of gas inside my 2004 Monte Carlo, it started over a week ago, no sign of gas leak and gas mileage is still good. Anyone have any ideas?

I'd use a fuel pressure gage and check correct fuel pressure. Once correct pressure builds up, see if pressure holds for a bit with everything off? If pressure drops like rock, you have a fuel pressure leak. Another thought would be evap leak?
How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes?

1991thunderbird threw out black smoke from exhaust pipes..then didnt start. changed plugs and it starts butshoots black fumes at start up makes street black a foot In diameter round stain on ground

Maybe the vehicle is flooding? Check vacuum line on fuel pressure regulator, where applicable, if it has gas in it, the fuel pressure regulator is faulty. Use a fuel pressure gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also, with key off, see if pressure will hold for a bit? As long as no fuel pressure bleed-off passages in throttle body, the pressure should hold for a bit.
There could be other issues.

I found out that my 2001 blazer had no gasket in it replace them but still smelling gas and it making noise what ekse could it be I need help

If you are smelling gas it is because you are getting excess fuel somewhere
Most likely it is the fuel injection unit or the fuel pressure regulator inside the intake plenium on top of the motor there is a shrader valve on top on drivers side of air intake on the fuel lines have someone pressure test the fuel pressure when you turn the key on and off three or more times to prime the pressure then turn the key off and watch the gauge while priming pressure the pressure should be 60 psi then after priming pressure and turning key off pressure should drop to 55psi and hold that pressure for 5 minutes minimum if it does not hold that pressure and starts dropping to zero your fuel injection unit and pressure regulator are leaking and dumping excess gas into the air intake plenium and it is easier to replace the injection unit and the pressure regulator as you can buy them cheaper combined a new injection unit comes with the new fuel pressure regulator
And if they are leaking gasoline after a failed pressure test that is why you are smelling gasoline
Have it pressure tested right away as if this indeed is the cause the excess fuel could combust at one point and cause a lot more damage
A pressure tester can be purchased at advanced auto for around 35 or any reputable garage can pressure test it in front of you in 5 minutes it's easy

1999 ford contour is not getting gas? starts finally but when put in reverse it chokes and dies. battery finally holds charge

Check the fuel pump. It's inside the fuel tank. You can read fuel pressure from the schraeder valve fitting on the injector rail with a gauge. If low or no pressure is shown, then replace the fuel pump.

Been siting for awhile, can't get gas to engine

This is going to sound strange but sometimes when a vehicle sits the gas drains back into the tank. This happens when there is an air leak in fuel system (lines, fuel filter, fittings in the system, etc). Place a short length of hose into the gas tank filler opening. Prepare to blow into the hose while sealing the opening around the hose and the filler neck. You can seal it with tape or just by holding a plastic bag tightly over the opening and around the hose. Blow in slowly and steadly. You want to pressurize the system and then hold the pressure to force the gas thru the fuel lines, fuel filter, etc. You want to inhale thru your nose and exhale into the hose just enough to pressurize the system. You can then exhale thru your nose as long as you hold the pressure in the hose (stick your tongue over the hose end to seal it). Don't breathe in from your mouth or you will be hating things. When releasing pressure from the hose do so gently or the gas will slosh back on you. You can have someone crank the engine while you are pressurizing the fuel system. You are just trying to move the fule that much closer to the carbs so you can get her running. Another option is to pour some gas down the car and try starting the vehicle. It will run for a short time and allow the fuel pump to pressurize the system. .

Failed smog because of leak in fuel line

I hazzard a guess but I would replace the gas filler cap. (the thing you take off when you put gas in the car)After all it is a pressure balanced situation.

Gas cap. pressurized air retentiion

Well, filling the tank will take up the space having to be pressureized. But if the cap is defective, The cap would be cheaper to replace and its needed anyway.
