Question about GMC Sonoma
You will need a ******** headlight or someone to hold the light...Crawl up under the front of vehicle..
(Be sure it is in park with emergency brake engaged ).....You will need a long skinny prybar...or flat screwdriver to disengage the latch...some you can reach if you have skinny arms and use a smaller screwdriver or certain type plyers...It is hard to do but if you can half way see it you will get the idea of what I am telling you...I have had to do it a few times and once you get it once it becomes easier....You may have to try a few times but it will eventually unlatch.
Some models you can remove bottom half of grill just enough to get your hand up inside but the latch will be hard to unlatch so you will need good plyers or channel lock plyers...
Hope this helps.............................................Metalpoet..............
