Question about 1992 GMC Safari
I think your ignition control module has failed. If you have an ohmmeter you
can check the coil for a high resistance at the secondary (where the plug attaches) and
a low resistance on the primary. The ICM is about 30 dollars and the coil is around 70.
You may be able to have them tested at the local auto parts store for free, it's worth
a call to see who offers this service.
Hope this helps.
