Question about 2001 Daewoo Lanos
If there is a computer chip in the original key you will only be able to get a new one from the dealer, if the new key you have turns over the engine ,but it won't start then you need a dealer key. Only try to start the car with the new key once though if you try it too many times the car will shut down and the dealer will have to reset your computer for you to be able to drive the car.
