Just went threw same problem you have to start with taking the fan shroud off its the black plastic cover then remove the fan. Then remove the belt once you do that it will give you the room to remove the water pump

The MD repair guide says a repair shop will take 11.2 hours and the do it yourself takes 14.3 hours to replace the oil pump.Here's the cost to do the job,1180.00 for the dealer to do it,1004.00 for a local repair shop and 62.00 for you to do it,take door number 3.

The back of the towncar wont lift up like normal its a lincoln 1994 towncar


mcdevito75 here, Could be one of the air lines leaking, a bad spring or shock or the level sensor not working. Your local shop should have a look.

The fuel pump is inside the fuel tank on a 94 TOWN CAR. On the side of the tank facing the front of the car, up high on the tank there is a round plate with fuel lines and an electrical connection. The pump is attached to this plate.

It should be fine the 1990/1994 dont appear to change much esp in that side no more steering controls are added unto 95 odd But you may find ford may have changed connectors to stop you doing things like that and ruining there sales lol

If your clock spring is buggered your horn wont be working either nor will your cruise control controls.
