Question about 2007 Toyota Tundra

1 Answer

I just purchased a 2007 tundra and while driving at low speeds I notice a "wump wump wump" noise. I thought it might be due to the old tires on the truck or perhaps something to do with the brakes which were recently serviced. Any idea what the problem might be.

Without looking at the vehicle and driving it myself, I would say your guess is a pretty good one. Usually that can be caused by chopped or dry tires. There could be other causes too like drive shaft ujoints, cv shaft going bad(if yours is 4x4), wheel bearings too.

I need help

This could be something with the suspension boots I've read about in the 2007 Aura's. Or it might be a transmission issue. I'd take it to the dealer.

Noise from the rear of the vehicle

Check the rear Sway Bar Links, if they are sloppy, rusted or damaged, replace them first.
