Question about 1994 Buick LeSabre

1 Answer

When I apply the brakes on my car my blinkers stop working, and just now I realized if I turn the left signal on the right blinker turns on along with the window brake light, but then when i turn the right blinker on the right blinker comes on along with the window brake light. But the front work normal just turn off when the brakes are applied.

Sounds like a bad ground connection, probably in the back. You'll need to find the bad connection. Or if you can figure out which wire is the ground wire, connect it via a new ground wire to the body.

Blinkers don't work: When I use my blinkers to

The right blinker issue sounds like you have one bulb out either front or rear check them both. The left blinker issue sounds like either bulbs(both out) or fuse, or worst case blinker switch has gone bad on left turn only so not picking up the signal.

NO BLINKERS WHEN I PUT ON THE BRAKES

Check to see if you have a burnt out light bulb, that usually causes your blinkers to stop working when you apply the brakes. and check your four way flasher fuse, it's part of your turn signals and brake lighting system.

I can't look up your wiring diagram because I don't know model year?
On some makes and models, the lower brake lites are wired through the multifunction switch. Your turn and stop use the same bulb filament, just not at the same time. On a left turn, the left turn signal works, but the brake lite on the left doesn't. Now, the brake lamp on the right does work. The high mount brake lite also will work. The highmount brake lite is usually wired differently than the lower brake lites.
W/o being able to look at wiring diagram, I don't know if my info is applicable on your vehicle? I need model year.
