Unless the ball joints and outer tie rod ends have been replaced, then the four you found are it, but i would think that a 20 year old car would have had something replaced by now but you never know, you want to look at were the lower a-arm aitches to the steering knuckle and were the outer tie rod end aitches to the steering knuckle if these have been replaced there should be a fitting at each pivot point.

How to bleed the clutch on a 98 ford ranger

Hi,marster cylinder under bonnet remove resourver cap,go under neath the car to where the gearbox meats engine slave cylinder is normaly on the nearside, you will need to a tube on to the bleed niple and a jar to put the other end of the tube into, you also want to put some brake fluid in to the jar just to cover the end of the tube, and get some one to depress clutch pedle to the floor then you slowly undo the bleed niple and let some fluid out and lock the bleed niple again and get the helper to slowly release the clutch peddle, then repeat untill all the air bubbles have gone from the tube.(dont forget to keep the resourver toped up with fluid)when you have done dont forget to top up resourver to the right level inbetween the two marks on side.hope this was some help.

Service ride control light on dic

First you need to have Suspention Control Module scanned to retvieve troube codes.
The common code is C0660 exhaust solenoid fault.
The exhaust soleniod in the rear suspention air compressor and is a common problem for having an open circuit internally.
The solenoid is not serviced seperate, will need an air compressor assembly if this is found to be the problem.

Suspention noise

This model often develops a noise from worn rear sway bar bracket bushings. They are inexpensive, so I would replace them and see if that was the problem.

My 91 dodge ram speedometer is starting to not work...it just started recently and it seems to be happening more and more

Somewhere in the early 80's they decided to take the cable out for the speedometer and replace it with an electronic speed sensing device that senses the speed of the output shaft on the transmission. Yes, the fail, and, apparently yours is. If you have any mechanical ability, this sensor is very easy to change. Just jack up the front lower a frame (drivers side) as hihg as your floor jack will safely allow. Grab an ols sheet, throw it under the truck about midway. If you lok towards the rear of the tranny you'll see a small group connector clipped to the tranny. Un clip this, and remove the one small bolt holding in the sensor. Pull out the old one, put in the new one. That's it. Thanks, Dana

Larry, you really need to take it to a trasnsmission shop and find out what the trouble codes are, but it seems as though you have a burned up transmission. Thanks and good luck with your repair.

Yes you can adjust the bands, but not for 1st gear. Of the two bolts you see, the front one is for 4th gear and the rear one is for 2nd. Is first gear the only problem you have? Does 1st gear work fine if you use manual 1st?
