Question about 2001 Volkswagen Passat
Its not fuses or bad bulb sockets. Its the circuit relay. It needs to be replaced. i have had that problem and that was the only fix.

On my Audi that was a bad bulb socket - I replaced the front turn signal bulb socket and the problem went away. Inspect the bulb sockets on your car, front and rear, and see which looks like a more likely candidate, and replace it if it looks like the bulb isn't the problem. You could just have a bulb seated slightly "off" and causing the problem, or it could be that the socket itself is failing.
