If not turning over don't have nothing to do with getting gas, Your problem is electrical, I would start with your coil . If tryed starting spray made no difference not good don't spry and more you can plow a hole in piston if fired with all that in there. Just check to see if your getting fuel to carb. , But i reallt thing it's in the coil,or the distrubter good luck

I hear clicking when I try to start our dodge ram 1500, the lights come on, I recharged the battery 2 days ago.

If the lights go dim when you try to start the car, your battery is poor, and needs replacing. If the lights are bright, and the car is just clicking, the it is likely to be your starter motors solenoid, and needs replacing. Hope that helps.

2005 Charger won't start, put key in , turn the key and all I get is dash board light and radio but no turn over ! Just nothin' , no click ! Nothing !

sounds like a flat battery but it could be a wire off the starter motor solonoid even a immobilisor problem but the most obvious is a flat battery try charging it up for a day then try it before you go any further

Hello i have a 1991 dodge dakota and it has recently died due to the lights being left on. I have been able to use jumper cables to get it started i used a 2000 chevrolet malibu for this. I have left it...

Replace the battery. Draining a car battery down completely will cause damage and decrease its capacity. If the battery was more than a couple of years old then it's time to replace.

1987 dodge ram 50 pickup 4 cyl engine. Put in new battery with 630 CCA and won't turn it over. How big of battery would we need?

That battery is big enough. I would look at the starter. try hitting the starter with a hammer, pipe or steel rod. Hit the starter not the solenoid. Then try starting it. if it starts turning better or starts the engine, replace the starter. If that doesn't work let me know and we can go from there.

2006 dodge ram diesel won't turn over to start

Sir I can help you with this, I have all the service manuals on your truck and will provide anything you need, but this honestly sounds like a bad wire connection or ground on a primary battery cable. I would trace all my battery cables and clean every connection even the engine ground cable and the one at your starter. I will be glad to help you further, I can post step by step trouble shooting guides on your truck if you need them. Hope this helps.

Having Trouble Keeping Battery Charged...

Just wanted to let you all know that I got the truck fixed, actually played around with a couple things, and hit the starter relay, and after havi the battery charging with another car, it did start. I went down and talked to my mechanic today, and we discussed a few things, and I am going to take the truck down to my mechanic, and have him charge the battery for a few hours, and then see if its the battery, alternator, voltage regulator, or the starter relay. Thanks for asking about it.
Sincerely,
Jeanine aka MrsJeanine
