Latch is stuck with door handle in open position , move latch tumbler (looks like crab claw) on side of door ,it will be in closed position to open position. may require some force to open ,but the latch is the problem, will have to have a new one installed.

1995 Lincoln Continental, passenger seat won't tilt back forward

YOU HAVE A SWITCH OR A TILT ACTUATOR MOTOR PROBLEM. LINCOLNS HAVE 5 OR 6 ELECTRIC MOTORS MOUNTED ON THE UNDERSIDE OF EACH FRONT SEAT WHICH REQUIRES REMOVING THE SEAT TO INSPECT .THEIR ARE ALSO CABLES ATTATCHED TO THESE MOTORS SO LISTEN WHEN YOU HIT THE TILT SWITCH DO YOU HEAR A MOTOR NOISE? IF YOU DO THEN YOU MAY HAVE A BAD CABLE.

I just bought a 1995 Lincoln Continental. How do i reprogram the keyless entry on the driver door

After entering the 5 digit code that is currently installed, press the 1/2 button and enter your new 5 digit code. After entering your new code, press the last 2 buttons (7/8 + 9/0) at the same time. This will confirm your new code has been accepted. Keep in mind, in case of loss of power, the keyless entry will revert back to the original code. Best of luck.

Window on passenger side will not come down need door panel instructions.

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

How to take off the door panel of a 2000 Lincoln Continental??

Driver/Passenger front: start with the correct tools. a phillips screwdriver will only remove the screws (two on bottom, two under cosmetic panel under inside door handle, and one at the top left [latch side]. The rest will require the tool, a wide forked, flat tool with a long (12") handle. It is designed to go around the plastic "studs" that are still holding the door on. there are about 6 or 8 of these. One is at the top almost separate piece by the mirror. just go down from there with the tool and you should be able to "pop" the rest of the studs out from there. Once those are all "popped" out, the door panel needs to be brought out at the bottom and then when it clears the door handle obstruction, lifted up and off, I closed the door slightly at this stage and set it in the position it's in when the door is closed.

I have a 95 Lincoln Continetal and I can't push the gas peddle down without force. When i pull the cable from the engine the peddle moves fine. Also when I try to move the throttle it will not move.

Hi if the cable is moving freely than it will be either the throttle body jammed or the throttle pedal has ceased, also check nothing has got jammed behind or above the pedal, hope this helps
