Always good to check first if you have spark to your plugs, fuel to you injection rail. But because you have replaced head,it would pay to ensure that the cambelt timing and tension is precise before trying to start. If this is the same as our models here.you must ensure that the tensioner is set so that the belt tension causes the small arrow to align to the correct mark on it.failure to get this right usually causes hard starting or the valves to strike onto the pistons.Suggest to carry out a compression test on each cylinder to see if in spec.Low or zero reading on all cylinders will denote cam timing incorrect or bent valves.
Hope this helps or get back with your findings and will try to remedy this for you.

SOURCE: Head gasket?
You remove air filter and other parts.
Then you remove head cover.
Then you unscrew and remove the head,
Clean a bit the block
Screw back the head
Follow head tourqe settings and screw orders on diagrams when mounting back the head.
The whole thing is not thst easy as it may seem, if you want to DIY you will need to buy the Haynes manual for your car. There you find a step by step procedure with pictures.
Here is a repair manual.
Also enquiry to Haynes.Haynes manuals are the best.
Here is how to replace head gasket on a Honda, with lots of pics, procedure is the same, torque values and screwing order are different. It is not a job for absolute beginners
Do not forget to rate the solution
