We have had mixed opinions from other people but my partner and I really like this car. It has 83,600kms and seems in good condition. The caryard inform me that they have had to do a VIV on the car due to flood damage, however all that needed replacing was the carpet. ???? $12,000. Please help!

Forst off, I'd start looking elsewhere. Cherokees are great trucks, but ANY with water damage are going to be nothing but headaches and a burden on your checkbook. Flood damage vehicles tend to have major corrosion problems, then add electronics that corrode and it turns into a nightmare. Find a another Cherokee

Knocking sound that intensifies when drivng faster

It could be a drive shaft. You may need to go under the vehicle and see if there's any play at the joints that are on the ends of the shaft.
