1131 is a more broad code that says you have a fuel trim issue, and lists many many possible causes. 1151 narrows down the issue and hints towards a lean-mixture picked up by your heated oxygen sensors.
It indicated that the following should be diagnosed: Oxygen sensors Fuel injectors Harness circuits to the injectors, and oxygen sensors. Vacuum systems Powertrain Control Module.
I hope this helps

Error codes PO600 and P1747

P1747 CAN-Bus Monitoring
P0600 Serial Communication Link
These codes indicate a communications failure between the transmission control unit and ABS/traction system. These modules share information which allow them to operate properly. It is likely that one of the modules has an internal fault.
With these generic codes it is not possible to determine the exact nature of the issue. Your best bet is going to be a dealer diagnosis using their sophisticated equipment so that the root cause can be determined and eliminate any guess work. The p codes are too generic in this case, unfortunately.

Engine operation

A review of engine operation:

In order to function properly an engine requires mechanical integrity along with a combination of air, fuel and a well timed spark. Engine operation is governed by an Electronic (Power) Control Unit/Module (ECU/ECM/PCM)or Engine Management System (EMS) that receives signals from a variety of sensors and in turn supplies air, fuel and timing appropriately. To reduce the impact of engine emissions on the environment the ECU also operates a number of emission control actuators and these too are monitored by sensors
Fault diagnosis can be helped by viewing the engine in several states: (i) starting;(ii) warming up or 'open cycle'; and (iii) as running at normal operational temperatures or 'closed cycle'. Most errors, and frequently the most inconvenient, relate to the start, or rather, failing to start process, closely followed by an engine that otherwise behaves normally but shuts down with little warning. When sensor signals indicating conditions outside normal operational parameters are sent to the ECU, the respective errors codes (DTCs Diagnostic trouble codes) are recordedand the 'check engine light' (CEL) or 'malfunction indicator light' (MIL) is illuminated on the dash board. Reading these error codes indicates the system in error and helps diagnose the fault.
The sensors and actuators included in this general guide are an amalgam of the ones found on many of today's cars. This is not to say that every car will have the full set of sensors or the exact layout as discussed here. Cars vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and technical developments also occur over time introducing new sensors whilst making older ones obsolete. NEXT 1) Air: From atmosphere to engine

There is a diagnostic procedure in the factory service repair manual for engine light lit ,no codes . Did you take it to ford dealer ? MIL - is referring to check engine , service engine soon etc...
  • MIL always on when engine is running (no DTCs):
  • MIL circuits
  • For Focus, Mustang, Town Car, Continental, LS6/LS8, Escape, Windstar, F-150, Expedition and Navigator/Blackwood:

Check engine light on and high beam indicator does not come on when beams are in use (97 cavalier)

Hello
When the service engine soon light (Also called the check engine light or engine management light) is turned on this is to alert you to the fact that Powertrain Control Module (computer) has detected a failure somewhere in the systems it controls you may not feel any difference in the way the engine runs, this can be the transmission or the engine or emission system, there are fault codes set in the modules memory for these faults. What needs to happen now is to have the powertrain control module scanned with a special tool called an OBD2 electronic engine control scanner or a OBD2 code reader. Once the code(s) are read then you must perform the diagnostics for each code and make the appropriate repairs based on the findings of the diagnosis that was performed, this is called doing "Pinpoint" testing.

Malfunction Indicator Light is on in my 2003 Hyundai XG350. It is not blinking. Won't have money to repair for a week. Can I still drive it? If not, are there any affordable service centers that offer...

When a 'check engine light' (MIL=Malfunction Indicator Lamp) is turned on, there is a DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) set/stored in the ECM/PCM (Engine Control Module/Powertrain Control Module). This code identifies which engine management system component/function experienced a malfunction. Once you pull/read this code, you may begin diagnosis.

ABS light comes on... but no noticble degradation in operation etc.

Most likely a wheel speed sensor, hopefully... The only thing that will change when the ABS light is on is that the ABS will not function as long as the indicator is on. I hope this info helps.

When the airbag system is in functioning condition, the airbag warning light will remain on for about 7 seconds and go out when the ignition switch is set to ON .

If there is any malfunction, the airbag warning light will either stay on or off continuously. In such cases, perform on-board diagnostic in accordance with the specified procedure to determine trouble codes.

  1. Turn ignition switch ON (with engine OFF ).

  1. Connect DIAG. terminal to No.2 terminal of diagnosis connector located inside lower cover.
  2. Check in accordance with the trouble code indicated by the AIRBAG warning light, and record the trouble codes.
  3. Turn the ignition switch "OFF " and remove the DIAG. terminal from No.2 terminal of diagnosis connector.

HOW TO READ TROUBLE CODES
The ABS lamp flashes a code corresponding to the faulty parts.

The long segment (1.2 secs on) indicates a "ten", and the short segment (0.3 secs on) indicates a "one".

NOTE: This is the only information provided by the manufacturer for clearing diagnostic trouble codes.

CLEAR MEMORY
After eliminating problem as per trouble code, clear memory as follows:

Make sure ignition switch is ON (and engine off). Connect one DIAG. terminal (1) on diagnosis connector (2) terminal No.1.

where warning light is flashing, connect the other DIAG. terminal (3) on terminal No. 2 for at least three seconds . After memory is cleared, normal warning light flashing rate resumes. (Warning light flashes every 0.6 seconds (ON-OFF operation.) Memory cannot be cleared if any problem exists.

After clear memory and then DIAG. terminals (1) and (3), extract from diagnosis connector (2)

Check engine light comes on

A malfunction indicator lamp (MIL), commonly referred to as the "Check Engine Light" is an indicator of malfunction of the computerized engine management system. It is found on the instrument console of most automobiles. When illuminated, it is typically either an amber or red color. On vehicles equipped with OBD-II, the light has two stages: steady (indicating a minor fault such as a loose gas cap or failing oxygen sensor) and flashing (indicating a severe fault, that will eventually destroy the catalytic converter, such as a misfire). When the MIL is lit, the engine control unit stores a fault code related to the malfunction, which can be retrieved with a scan tool and used for further diagnosis. The malfunction indicator lamp is usually labeled with the text check engine, service engine soon, check engine soon, or a picture of an engine.
The MIL appeared in the early 80s along with computerized engine controls. Even the earliest systems, such as GM's CCC (Computer Command Carburetor) system had self diagnosis functionality. When the computer detected a fault, it illuminated the MIL. Up until OBDII, on most cars the MIL could output codes, when two pins on the ALDL are jumped, the light would flash the codes, for instance (blink) (pause) (blink) (blink) for code 12. Some manufacturers retained this feature even after OBDII, such as Honda.

Hope this help (remember comment and rated this). Good luck.
