Might have a miss fire, at idle the car will sputter, if not that, then check all hose fittings on carburator may be a vacuum leak.

Would a faulty electric fuel pump relay be the reason there is no power going down to the fuel pump in a 2002 suzuki grand vitara 2.0 rhz diesel engine

To test fuel flow, have a 2nd person stand over air filter (air filter housing open) with a can of starting fluid in one hand. Don't give any throttle, then 2nd person gives 1-second squirt into air filter while you're turning starter motor (no throttle). When engine catches, immediately give one third to one half throttle. Just before it dies, 2nd person should give another short squirt of starting fluid to keep engine from dying. If throttle won't keep engine running and only starting fluid keeps it running, then yes, no fuel is going through fuel lines. Either its a fuel pump issue or maybe there's restriction because of clogged dirty fuel filter. If it starts but runs rough and has black exhaust smoke, then its clogged or dirty fuel injectors.

My chevy blazer is turning over but it won't start even when I put gas in the carberator.

You don't have a carberator on it, it's fuel injected. Id try spraying carb cleaner in the throttle while you have someone turn it over. If it fires up for a few seconds then dies then you might have a fuel pump problem or fuel filter clogged. If it still doesnt fire up then check if you have spark, if no spark see if your crank sensor is good and if your coil is getting power. If your coil is not getting power you might have a crank sensor problem. Try this and let me know if it helps.

Gas not getting to the carburator. Starter turns

Check all of the fuel lines very carefully for breaks or cracks in the fuel lines, especially between the fuel tank and the fuel pump.

If the fuel lines are all in good condition then you can safely assume that the problem is in the fuel pump and you will need to replace it. (If the fuel pump is in really bad shape the engine oil on the end of the engine oil dip-stick will smell like fuel)

Won't start. turning, but won't fire.

If you think its fuel, spray some starter fluid inthe throttle body. If it fires up, you have a fuel problem, otherwise, check your spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor. Also, check your fuses.

Driving up an upgrade in Alaska, The vehicle just cut out and has fuel. Will not restart. Fuel filter changed, Sprayed vehicle starter with no luck

Have someone put their ear to the gas tank and listen. And have someone else turn the key to the on position. You should here a buzzng for noise for 5 seconds that verifies the fuel pump is on.You can also spray starter fluid into the throttle body and try to start the truck. If it starts for a second or so then dies that means the engine is not getting fuel from the pump.Replace the pump.If it still doesnt start after that then the ignition needs to be checked for spark.9 times out of 10 when that happens it's the fuel pump or the ignition coil.Labor time on a fuel pump is 3 hours ( I just did one on same vehicle yesterday) And labor time on a coil is an hour or less.

2000 toyota camry does't start.

remove the hose to the throttle body and spray some fuel spray in it.if the engine starts then dies out,it is more than likely your fuel pump. check that the wire going to the fuel pump is getting voltage and that the fuse and relay are good.fuel pumps will die just like that.never run less than 1/4 tank...the pumps use fuel to keep cool
