Question about 1986 Toyota Corolla 2 Door

1 Answer

My Toyota engine clicks and all the lights work, even the radio keeps all of the preset stations though now the engine just doesn't start. All looks connected like it should be. It used to just start up first time, even if a battery issue, I could connect my battery boaster and it would start. Can anyone help? Thanks

Sounds like a starter or silinoid problem. Might check your positive battery and other connections, good luck.

If disconnect my battery of my toyota sequoia will it disprogram my engine of a 03

What do you mean disprogram your engine of a 03? If you mean will the engine still operate the same, yes it will. If anything, you may need to reset the radio clock (if you have one), maybe reset the radio station presets, and on some vehicles, may need a car code to allow the radio to turn on.

There a two power wires to the radio, one to power the radio (which appears to be working) and a second to keep the programming (which does not appear to be working). Check that all the fuses are good (there is probably one for the memory).

I can't enter the radio code in my 2005 Lancer

On your radio your preset stations each have a number 1,2,3,4,5,etc. The first preset station represents the first number in your code. Lets say your code is 1212(example) then you would: [press #1 preset-1 time.] [press #2 preset-2 times.] [press #3 preset-2 times.] [press #4 preset-1 time.]
Once you've entered your code press the cd button.
Good Luck.
