sounds like a misfire, if it is 1996 or newer have somewhere like autozone scan the computer for you and see if there is any codes for a misfire, if its older than 1996 then i personally would start it up in park, then pull off spark plug wires one at a time (use pliers and gloves, dont get shocked) and then plug them back in. see which ones change how the engine sounds and how much it shakes or stalls.

if one makes a big difference in how it sounds then that one is firing, if it makes little difference then it might not be firing properly, could need a new plug or wire.

I have a 2007 mazda3,and just changed the spark plugs and air filter. now it the motor rattles and shakes.

Was there a reason for changing the spark plugs, was it giving you a misfire code? I have an 08 mazda 6 and I've changed the spark plugs before without any problems, if the engine is rattling and shaking it may be a misfire from a faulty plug or a bad coil pack atop the spark plug. You should be getting a Check engine light on the dash if so take it to a local Autozone or Advance Auto Parts, they'll check the code for free.

2002 ford escape misfiring changed all plugs gaskets boots

I would have it scanned and check what cylinders are still misfiring. I would change the ignition coil for that cylinder and see if that fixes the
problem. If the misfire is still there...the PCM will likely need replacement.

P0300 random misfire detected

Check spark plugs and wire set. I had a mechanic replace my spark plugs by hand and he didn't tighten one well enough, when a different mechanic figured out that, he had damaged the wire set. A pin hole in the wire set caused it to shake uncontrollably, especially at higher speeds. I would check that first, it's much less expensive than replacing the coil.

Please someone answer this question. I have a beautiful BMW e46 330i 2004. and When i was accelerating "hard" an engine service light came on and I felt a big power loss and shaking...

sounds like you are on the right track, i think i would replace the coils. i cant recommend buying them at autozone we will not use any autozone electrical parts in our shop. GOOD LUCK

My 1999 Buick Century Custom began to shake when i turned it on, it seemed to stop or i didnt notice it as much when I picked up speed, but when i slow to take corners or back up it shakes. The service...

Okay, this sounds like its misfiring, the engine light is on because the computer sees a problem, if you have the computer scanned it will tell you where the problem is, for example it will give a code and say cylinder 2 misfire.autozone will scan for free, if its a misfire i would start with a tune up , spark plugs ,sparkplug wires and air and fuel as needed, then see how it drives from there, the light can be cleared at autozone also, if it still picks up a misfire then depending on the cylinder you may have a bad coil pack also, there are three packs one controls two cylinders so depending on the cyliner misfiring thats the coil to replace, they should be labeled but if not just follow the wire to coil from cylinder, they are as follows, rear cylinders from left to right are cylinders 135 the front 246, hope this helps.
