Could be a spark or fuel problem. Turn your ignition to the on position, but don't try to start the truck, if you don't here the fuel pump engage then either the fuel pump is bad, or the fuse is blown, or the fuel pump relay is bad. If that's not the problem check to see if you are getting spark at the spark plugs.

2001 Excursion front end problems


The u-joint are know to dry out and never get greased. The ball joints will make noise while traveling over bumps and when turning.

After warm up starts to have a dead miss


Depending on the miles and how you keep it serviced, the catalytic converter can have some blockage and the backpressure can cause this. It happened to my excursion.

No brake lights and no turn signal


Check the fuses that are associated with the brake lights and turn signal. The fuse box is located below the steering column and the fuse box diagram (for fuse assignment) is located in the owner's manual. I hope this helps.
