On the bottom of the oil pan. There may even be 2 oil drain plugs, at least there were in the late 80's models.

Location of oil pump on a 3.8 liter ford

It should be inside the oil pan. You will need to somehow get the oil
pan offf, in order to remove the oil pump. Make sure you check the
oil pressure to make sure that is the problem, before you go through
all that trouble getting to it?Good luck.

Crown vic oil change

Some of them have an oil plug at the front of the pan, as well as the regular one. You have to drain them both. The front one only holds a quart or less.

Can't locate reserve oil drain plug on 1994 Ford E350

It only has 1 oil pan which is call a dual resreve. One oil plug is a the bottom of the pan the other is at the front of the oil pan. Look at the front of the oil pan for the other drain plug. Make sure on how many quarts of oil it takes. ( I know 5.0 take 5 quarts including oil filter. But then again its a van double check)
