The horn is located below your passenger side headlight just remove the headlight and look down and you will be able to see your horn. hope this helps.

replace the horn button the contacts are in continous contact.this could also be a bad horn relay that the contacts won`t separate and will need to be replaced.
the horn fuse also runs the shift lock. Recommend you see if you can find the horn relay in the box by the battery and pull that out. If not that, you can always pull the connectors off the horns. The horns are usually in the grille area or in the fender near the headlights.
Hi! You may want to start looking at the fuse box located underneath the dash on the driver's side. The fusebox cover usually has a legend that tells you the designated fuses and amperes. Replace the horn fuse if busted. Have a nice day
Horn relay located above the interior fuse junction panel. Hope this helps. Also check the ground wire to horn, if in doubt run a wire from horn base to some other ground.
You need to check the live feed to the connection wire, at the horn, with a 12v test light, when the horn button is pressed.
It could be the horn its-self has packed up ?
I replaced my horn the original horn just burns out. Get a new horn for the escort, they are much louder. You can just reach under the front passenger side of the car inside below the right headlight and slide your hand in to remove the nut that mounts the horn in. good luck
