This Relates to Circuit High Input for Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1
There seem to be several options of engine configuration in this model,as for most Honda.Usually the Intake Air Temperature sensor needs either cleaning with crc sensor cleaner(only use a sensor safe cleaner). If this does not work,it will need replacing.Generally it is located on the air ducting;air cleaner to throttle body.Depending on model it may be close to air filter housing or even on the lower side of the housing. Some are incorporated in with the MAF sensor and wont be listed as a IAT sensor. They are usually a 2 or 3 wire connection, but the MAF combos may have 5 wire connections.Try cleaning the sensor(s) in the ducting and see if the code can be reset or possibly go off after cleaning.I hope this helps you.If not get back with results from this and I will try and remedy for you

A code P0113 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
Internally failed IAT sensor Faulty connection at IAT sensor
Open in IAT ground circuit or signal circuit
Short to voltage in IAT signal circuit or reference circuit IAT harness and/or wiring routed too close to high-voltage wiring (e.g. alternator, spark plug cables, etc.)

I have a lincoln town car 2003 I have this code po113 IAT sensor 1 circuit high input I changed my MAF and it started up but not like it should can someone please help me out

code p 0113 refers to intake air temperature (IAT) sensor --circuit malfunction===causes wiring open circuit / short to positive ---wiring short to ground ---ground wire defective --IAT sensor---ECM
the MAF ( mass air flow) sensor has nothing to do with the fault
the fault is in the wiring or the IAT sensor

2009 Jeep Wrangler 3.8 PO113 code

will cause limphome ,low power, and mpg bad, and CEL glow.
IAT is major sensor on MAP EFI.

the IAT reads too high, id bet it's unplugged.
or was removed and dropped to the pavement and broken inside.
the eCU reports this when the input hits near 5vdc.
this is and open circuit stated.
fell off, wires bad. connector bad. dead open sensor bad.
my fsm has no IAT resistance table. (sad)

my garage is 60f and my sensor reads 16k ohms (16,000)
with hot water (tap at sink) running over it , it might read
3000 ohms, or 3k. it is a NTC sensor, more heat , lower ohms.

the sensor is double locked, so never fall off.
slide red lock up, and mush lever down and pull conn. off sensor.
3 steps.

THE fsm STATES
K21) IAT SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO VOLTAGE (12V?)
(K21) IAT SIGNAL CIRCUIT OPEN (FELL OFF?)
(K900) SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN (FELL OFF)
IAT SENSOR (BAD)
POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) nah.

Recieved a fault code of P0113 during a car inspection. What should I be looking at to solve this problem?

The ECU is receiving a higher than normal resistance signal from the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor, Check the connections and if they are good more than likely the sensor is bad. The ECU can be bad but highly unlikely.

I have 2 pending codes for a 99' pontiac grand prix gt. p0107 map/baro ckt low input.. & p0113 iat sensor 1 ckt high. i need to figure out what these 2 problems come from & what problems will they...

Try unplugging and plugging the map sensor, this device should have manifold pressure hooked up to it, via hose, so check for cracks or leaks. Then clear codes and test again.
