Heater core is out. Careful you will run low on coolent. Befor replacing you can try a clothes hanger and stick up the drain hose on passenger side firewall work up and down and see if it is stoped up. good luck.

I can smell antifreeze coming through my vents w/o the heat/ac being on. Leak under front right side of truck, cant figure out where from. Constantly have to fill radiator...is this the heater core?

without a doubt. bet the carpet and or floorboard is damp on the passenger side. It is possible it could be the hose at the heater core but either way you have to get access to it to either replace or fix.

Water on drivers side floorboard . Why?

If you have a sunroof it could be the drain that follows the front pillar letting out under the front fender. These hoses are known to plug and crack open releasing water into the floorboards.

Driver side door check along top and front edge for tears or twisted looses sections. Internal to the door water can drain down along the window and is released outside the door seal. If the bottom of the door has the opening that releases the water plugged then water will drain over into the floorboard.

I am loosing antifreeze collant about a cup a day. I am brown gook in my radiator and the reservor. I smell antifreeze and for a couple of days my windsheild would fog up. I have not seen any antifreeze...

Usually when you have these symptoms, the first thing you should look for is coolant in the passenger side floorboard. Just run your hands over the carpet and feel for dampness. if you have floor mats, ne sure to check under the floor mat. If it is damp you are most likely going to have a leaking heater core or heater core hose

Floorboard on driver side completely soaked after it rains

If you remove the door rails at the bottom of the doors you'll be able to lift the carpet and visually look for some small drain plug devices. It sounds like one or more of them is missing or that you have lost a seal in the door or window.

try having an assistant 'water'' your car with a garden hose while you're in it.especially check seals at windshield & doors.it could take a few minutes of ''watering'' before a leak shows up.

I HAVE HOT AIR BLOWING ON THE DRIVERS SIDE FLOORBOARD AND I HAVE NOTICED THAT THE FLOORBOARDS ARE WET.

your heater core(looks like a very small radiator) has a leak or is broken. Its under the dash between the driver and passenger. Check the hoses that run from the firewall and under the dash.

Leak onto floorboard

Here is what all dealers do to find water leaks, we spray a fine mist of water on the car near where the water might be comming in with a spray nozzle, someone gets inside the car and look for the leak, there is no other way, and I have been doing this 30 years.
