I have recently purchased a 1997 Toyota

Unless you are in a cold part of the country, I'd suggest 10W40 or even 20W50 and see if the oil pressure improves. Mobil 1 will often yield lower oil pressure in higher mileage engines when hot. It's really not worth the money unless you live in near arctic conditions.

1999 Astro chevy van oil gauge goes between 30 - 60 when i am driving 30 when i slow down and 60 when i sped up.

NORMAL JUMP AS THE ENGINE RPM INCREASES THE OIL PRESSURE GOES UP VERY FAST. I HAVE THE VAN, MY DOES THE SAME THING, U CAN TRY REPLACING THE OIL PRESSURE SENDER, BUT ONLY USE THE GM ORIG PART, AFTERMARKET ONES MAKE THE FLUCUATION WORSE..
