My Grand Caravan is refusing to start. I drive it every day around 200-300 miles and ir has 100,000 on it now. Today I tried to start it and it just cranked like it was not receiving fuel. I tried the flooded start method, but it just cranked and never even hit a lick at starting. Help!!!

If you read the owner's manual, you'll usually find that there's not much to be done. Spark plugs are often good for 50,000 miles and up. The air intake rarely needs cleaning and antifreeze is often good for ten years or 100,000 miles. Even belt checking is usually not done frequently.

oh, you probably broke one of the cv joints in that front wheel drive vehicle, my bet is that you have been hearing a clicking sound when going around corners. will need a tow to the shop

yep. I get mine charged yearly once I hit 100k miles, I have 213k on my caravan now and its still chugging right along !!

Fluids, fluids fluids... especially your transmission, this I'd replace every 30K miles. Proper tune up, rear shock, front struts. Have the front-end checked for worn steering components, replace if needed, lastly all belts. Take care of it and it will serve you well or 1999 has 210K on it and starts and goes.

Standard Answer for Timing Belts/Chains: 100,000 to 120,000 miles is when the Timing Belts/Chains start malfunctioning or failing. Some people want to go ahead and change them before malfunctions/failures happen.
I just replaced mine on 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan which just turned 100K. Most Timing Belt/Chain failures will cause more costly engine damage when these fail, including a need to replace/rebuild an entire engine.

sound like the electronic module that controlls tranny is heating up or just going bad...have it tested by a good mechanic

What engine code(s) are you getiing? Try cycling key to, on ,off, on, off, on & leave on. (not start)
now count flashes from check engine light. will be flashes, pause ,flashes for 2 digit #'s. For example: 2 flashes , pause, 2 more is code 22.
3 flashes,pause, 3 more, is code 33. Write them down & get back to us. By the way when you get 55, thats end of message.
